About Your Plant Medicine & Soul Guide
When I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2015, I woke up wishing it was all a nightmare. I didn’t realize it was actually the beginning of my greatest journey.
I started by healing my body. Through the use of cannabis, my symptoms subsided. I also learned that if I could control my anxiety, I could control my disease. I wrapped myself in bubble wrap and shut myself off from the outside world. If it didn’t fit in an orderly box, there was no room for it. I lived a very sheltered, measured life for 10 years, and it worked... until it didn’t. I eventually became bored. I was antsy; my anxiety shifted in a different way. I was “safe’ – but at what cost?
I started microdosing Holy Blooms in 2020 just for the sake of it. It was the days of Covid spent floating in the pool with nothing but space and time. My mind would loosen as I stared at the clouds through my mushroom haze. Then, a voice from deep within, quiet at first, whispered a truth I had started to feel but was scared to acknowledge: my intuition, a knowing that there was richness and fullness to life, and I was missing it. What was once my safe place began to feel like a cage. Nothing could get in, and maintaining what once kept me “healthy” was now draining me.
My perspective shifted. The Holy Blooms helped me become more aware. I started to be present and decided once and for all to stop being afraid. I found a love for myself I never had before. I felt stronger and healthier. Not because the world and constant change outside my bubble wrap wasn’t terrifying, but because I knew no matter what, I could handle it from the forever home I created within myself, for myself - my Soul.
My Story
This new way of being gave me the courage to leave an 11-year marriage that was just a checkmark on a list and wasn’t kind. The Holy Blooms showed me I could trust in myself and Nature, walking with my head up and towards the unknown with excitement… even when I was let go from my corporate cannabis job only a couple months after my divorce, which was as toxic and draining as my marriage.
As my entire life burned down around me, I knew it was for a higher good, the intelligent pattern of Nature. To walk into it was to connect with that energy within and outside of me. I gained a lot of wisdom over those years, with the Holy Blooms holding my hand and guiding me the entire way. It’s wisdom I draw upon every day and reach deep into when life gets hard. Allowing me to trust, let go, and open to the world instead of running from it fearfully. To feel it all and to know that is what it is to be alive. When I realized the Holy Bloom’s role in it all, I knew I had to share them with others. I knew they were put on earth to help us, to serve us, to save us… especially now. So, here I am.
I created The Green Life Sacred Community and devoted myself to getting to know the mind of God, or divine Nature, through the experiences of the Holy Blooms. A direct connection with Nature, to remind me of my true nature. They showed me my Soul, my intuition, my wild – the part of myself I’d been ignoring for so long. Ultimately, it was the suppression of that part of me that led to my autoimmune disease, or dis-ease, in my body. I didn’t trust my gut, and she fought back – screaming to be heard, begging to be known. Trapped energy that needed to be released. It was the Holy Blooms that taught me and showed me how to listen.
When I wake up now, I say thank you because I’m here another day to live the dream. I never thought that what started as a nightmare would bring heaven to earth and be my greatest teacher. If it weren’t for the Holy Blooms, that truth would have been only half-lived. Without them, I wouldn’t be truly alive. I want you to know what that feels like. I want it for you too and I’d love nothing more than to be your guide.

Values
Our values guide this community; they are what we hold close when we engage with each other and life. They are lessons we have learned from our belief and direct experiences with Nature through the sacrament.
Inclusivity - We see your race, your nationality, your ethnicity, your gender, your sexual orientation, your age, your physical abilities, your socioeconomic status, your education, your appearance, the language you speak, your gender identity, and your family status - and we love you because of it.
Self-love - Self-love is a masterpiece of interior kindness that then becomes the yardstick for all else.
Presence - The present moment is the result of all that ever was; the heritage of a moment is a pretty incredible thing to stand in. There is always something beautiful to witness within the Now that resonates with a deep remembering and turns to gratitude and action.
Living in Gratitude - Gratitude is when you touch the spark of the Present moment. It is making contact with everything that is beautiful and healing within it, soaking in that nourishment. Through this lens, there is a profound exquisiteness, a deep appreciation for the simple.
Letting Go - Letting go is a choice. Letting go is brave; every time a trust fall with the Universe, into the flow and underlying universal energy of Nature.
Courage - Normalizing discomfort to stay standing in the midst of uncertainty is the foundation of courage. This is how you get braver with your life and your heart. It leads to a way of Being that is vivid, fearless, centered, and in love with life.
Non-Judgment & Compassion - Compassion is the bridge between judgment and understanding, fostering true support and Love.
Forgiveness - Through self-love, non-judgement, and compassion, forgiveness is a kindness and understanding you can offer yourself and others. Peace comes from within. Guilt, shame, and anger are heavy energies to carry that only act as poison, hurting the bearer most.
Gentleness - There is no rush; it’s not how fast or how slow the process happens, but simply the enoughness that it happens with integrity from the inside out. To be held and loved unconditionally is gentle. Patience is gentle.
Balance - Honoring both sides of a duality leads to a more holistic and complete perspective, fostering a greater sense of interconnectedness and oneness. It is also within the tension of these forces that novel ideas, transformations, and breakthroughs can emerge, driving creativity and evolution.
Embracing Failure - Failure is to be witnessed as part of the process of attempted growth and expansion, of change and evolution, of exploring the edge and creating between the lines. It has nothing to do with a particular destination, but rather, a beneficial, experiential journey that fosters a greater knowledge of Self, regardless of the outcome.
Reverence for Nature - Nature is our temple. The towering trees, auspicious mountains and endearing sky, the ceiling of our cathedral. Nature is sacred. Each aspect is a spiritual entity, with a deep connection between the natural world and the Divine. Nature is the manifestation of the Divine in the purest sense and is to be protected, respected and appreciated as a great teacher.
Creative Expression - By letting go of resistance, egoic demands, and mental noise, to be fully Present, you are able to tap into the flow of Universal intelligence that inspires creative expression. This is Awareness through art. Dance, music, painting, sculpture, poetry, photography, theater, baking, film, fashion design, graffiti, whatever medium is expressed, is to be celebrated and sought, welcomed, and embraced in the community.
Honoring Wisdom, Reverence for Elders & Ancestors - To have elders not just in attendance, but as respected, honored participants and leaders of the community. With elders among us, gratitude is closer at hand. Stories and wisdom gained from their lived human life broadens perspectives and allows for a deeper appreciation of the Present more quickly.
Benevolence & Service - Seated in Soul, the greater purpose is the ability to elevate the present and be of service to it. Coming together with the community and serving someone else, is an incredibly healing way to be with other human beings.
"Heal yourself with the light of the sun and the rays of the moon. With the sun of the river and the waterfall. With the swing of the sea and the fluttering of birds. Heal yourself with mint, name, and eucalyptus. Sweetened with lavender, rosemary, and chamomile. Hug yourself with the cacao bean and a hint of cinnamon. Put love in tea instead of sugar and drink it looking at the stars. Heal yourself with the kisses that the wind gives you and the hugs of the rain. Stand strong with your bare feet on the ground and with everything that comes it. Be smarter every day by listening to your intuition, looking at the world with your forehead. Jump, dance, sing, so that you live happier. Heal yourself, with beautiful love, and always remember… You are the medicine." – María Sabina Magdalena García, Mazatec Curandera (healer), Shaman, and Poet
